We try to update you on the latest in the interior world but what is the latest with Sweijer design?

We are in a busy time of the year when the design event has been almost as steady as the rain has been the last couple of weeks. The ARC event at the Opera house was one of the better ones, the view and the fantastic company might have had something to do with that.

We are in the middle of creating construction drawings package for our Points Point project and are looking forward to showing you some more about that project.

The Allambie Heights project is waiting to get build and we can't wait to see the finished result and show you some professional photos.

In the meantime, we are looking into our new possible project that will be a little bit different than the last ones, exciting!

We are also in a hunting mood, yes we are hunting for office space around the Manly area. We currently have two different options we are now looking more into. Hopefully, we will have one as soon as next week! So a lot of new exciting things on the horizon.

We wish all of you a Happy Friday!

3daysofdesign by Agnes Sweijer

Last week was one of the times that we at Sweijer Design really wished we were living closer to Scandinavia and their design scene.

The event 3daysofdesign has just filled Copenhagen in Denmark with loads of Danish and international design. 3daysofdesign is an annual open design event where the aim is to inspire the visitor the same way that the designers have been inspired by their love of design, material and craftmanship.

It’s a 3 day celebration of everything desig. From new inspiring concept, lightening, furniture and interior design.

We have done our homework and gone through every piece of information and photos from the event and this is our favorites:

ARK JOURNAL at Hotel Charlottenborg

This exhibition was curated by the design magazine Ask Journal. They showed cased 16 furniture brands in the most beautiful buildings. This one looks like a show stopper and we are going throw and drooling over the pictures.

The exhibitors: Fritz Hansen, Kvist Industries, Skovby Møbelfabrik, Re Nature Beds, Møbelsnedkeri Kjeldtoft, Magnus Olesen, Eilersen, Cane-line, Randers+Radius, Vahle, W.O. Interior, Overgaard & Dyrman, Søren Lund Møbler, Four Design, Brdr. Petersen and Form & Refine.

In collaboration with the Swedish designer Lotta Agaton, they transformed their new showroom to a sophisticated and deep serene Nordic scene. The combination of deeper colour palette and rich texture gave us a feeling of wanting to jump into this warm Nordic space and cosy up with a warm cup of tea and a good book.
